He is at work in our families, friendships, places of worship, workplaces, schools, the military, the halls of government, entertainment, and even the media. We pray for a revival in the hearts of our nation, with a renewed love for one another, a commitment to protecting life, and keeping this nation a land of liberty for all.

A Prayer for America

Heavenly Father,
We come before You to lift up the United States of America on this National Day of Prayer. Thank you for the freedom to gather and pray here in America.
We pray for Your guidance and wisdom for our leaders and all those in positions of authority.
We pray for unity and peace in our communities and across our land. We ask that You heal the divisions that exist and bring reconciliation where there is conflict.
We ask that You bless our economy and provide for the needs of all our citizens. We pray for their health and well-being and for Your healing touch upon those who are sick or suffering.
We pray for protection and safety for our armed forces who defend us abroad and for our first responders who safeguard us at home. May you grant them all courage, hope, and strength.
We ask that Your will be done in all things and that You bless this nation and its people, now and always.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

It was a good reminder that despite challenges our country may be facing, God is with us and that He will see us through. Together, for 30 hours, America was praying. Hallelujah!
